Top Home

The existence of an object resides in its functions, without it, it loses all its meanings. The user’s experience is to be taken into account in order to create an object that must be plain and intitive as well. Nothing must be superfluous, everything must be well thought. In this way, the function predominates and defines the shape. They are indissociable.

SIMPLICITY ABOVE ALL.

It’s an essential parameter when designing an object. Be it the shape, the use, the ergonomy when carrying it out. Simplicity is the heart of any project. A pure product with singular lines will be vastly more appealing and easily identifiable. As for a logo, the shape of the object has to be an expression of its own identity.

PLAYFUL AFTER ALL.

The playful aspect of an object is an powerfull means to draw attention and arouse interest. At first glance, it must challenge and not leave one indifferent.
An unrealistic image, an atypical use, odd shape and bright lights will give way to emotion and make this experience unique.

OVATION TO INNOVATION.

Innovation is often a technical challenge but also stimulates creativity. Each creation cannot start if industrial requirements are not taken into account. These are bound to materials and their different means of production and ergonomics... It is these constraints that define the designer’s field of possibilities and allow him to innovate.

NO SHAPE WITHOUT FUNCTION.

CREATION PROCESS

STEPS IN DEVELOPING

A PRODUCT

Phases

STEP 1

BRAINSTORMING

A first appointment is necessary to understand your expectations, your thought processes in order to lay down specifications. These will define technical and financial constraints, production and creation deadlines.
Studying tendencies of competitors on the market will set up the strategy positioning.
Differents options, quotes are offered in order to match your objectives.

STEP 2

RESEARCHES

The period of designing so called «Design Study» can start. You will receive several reseach ideas. Exchanges to begin with sketches and mutual comments that will give the opportunity to improve one or several tracks and eventually adopt one only.

STEP 3

MODELING

On the basis of a technical package which was first clearly defined, the CAD* in 3D creation phase quickly follows. The product becomes virtually real and often shows the true ergonomic and dimension strain. New proposals and alternative solutions enable to bring the project to its achievement.
A technical study CAD with the engineers is to be made in order to make the project industrially feasible and also to foresee the productioncost.

STEP 4

RENDERING

The realistic reproduction in 3D is a thrilling step which, with its light and colors gives life to the object. It gives a better appreciation of the shape and, in a way, shows the object in the final step. Videos and virtual demos are visual assets enabling to appeal to your potential customers or future clients on social networks.

STEP 5

PROTOTYPE

This stage of prototype is essential before production. The 3D printing can create anything, be it functional or not. It is a very important step during which you can hold the object in your hands for the first time, you can use it and see its volume.
This also gives you the opportunity of showing your product during exhibitions and offering a more convincing experience.
